Turning Waste into Clean Energy

Discover the PRIMA 3000 - advanced gas-cracking technology that turns waste into renewable energy and eco-friendly carbon products.

Carbon Negative Waste-To-Energy Solutions

PRIMA 3000 – Advanced Thermal Treatment

PRIMA 3000 is PGE’s patented waste-to-energy system built around advanced pyrolysis technology. Using a controlled low-oxygen thermal process, PRIMA 3000 converts waste into energy-rich syngas, renewable electricity and carbon-based products.

Key Benefits

  • 3MW proven system operational in Hirwaun, Wales
  • Patented gas cracking technology
  • Carbon-neutral and carbon-negative potential
  • Designed and manufactured in Ireland
  • Built for industrial-scale deployment

Waste System Management

Our expert engineers help maintain waste systems to maximize energy output, and reduce emissions.

Key Benefits

  • Experienced engineers for continuous maintenance
  • Site visits for technical evaluation and viability assessments
  • Full-service implementation, including engineering, procurement, and construction
  • Modular systems designed for expansion across business sizes
  • Seamless connection to current operations and utilities

Green Biorefineries

We assist in designing & building green biorefineries that can turn biowaste & organic matter into usable fibres and liquids.

Key Benefits

  • Farm-specific digester plans for grass, crops, and crop waste
  • Detailed field survey and resource mapping
  • Turnkey installation — from blueprint to operational launch
  • Flexible configurations for both small family farms and industrial-scale setups
  • Built-in compatibility with existing farm technologies

What is Pyrolysis?

Pyrolysis is a low-oxygen process that heats materials without combustion, yielding clean outputs and reducing emissions.

Pyrolysis is a low-oxygen thermal treatment process. Unlike incineration, it does not burn waste. Instead, materials are heated in a controlled, oxygen-limited environment, breaking them down into clean, usable outputs with significantly lower emissions.

This controlled process enables efficient resource recovery while minimising environmental impact.

Other Solutions

Our Secondary Solutions

Complementing Prima 3000, these secondary solutions handle specific waste streams without competing with our core thermal technology.

Green Biorefineries

Our green biorefinery projects focus on processing grass and agricultural biomass into high-value bio-based products. These projects are currently developed for the Irish market and complement our broader decarbonisation strategy.

Anaerobic & Aerobic Digestion

We support biological treatment solutions for organic waste streams, producing biogas, compost, and soil conditioners. These systems are integrated where suitable, but remain secondary to our thermal treatment expertise.

Plastic Recycling

Mechanical and advanced recycling solutions help recover value from plastic waste streams. These services complement the Prima 3000 by ensuring maximum material recovery before thermal conversion.

Clean Electricity for Data Centres

As part of Ireland’s evolving energy and planning framework, new data centre developments must demonstrate that at least 80 % of their annual electricity demand is matched by new renewable generation located in Ireland, supported by credible project plans and delivery pathways. Premier Green Energy can help by supplying clean power - including bespoke renewable generation and supply solutions, enabling data centre projects to align with regulatory requirements and future-proof their planning permissions.
